The farming lobby group, Farmers For Action, are holding a March in London on Wednesday 23 March 2016 to represent all sectors of the farming industry. As this is the last sitting of parliament and also the last Prime Minister’s Questions before the Easter recess, there will be plenty of MPs in London who will hopefully support our event. This will be an event billed as a “celebration of farming” and we are keen that the event promotes, to the general public, why farming is so important to the countryside and the wider economy. The event will also be an opportunity to convey some key messages about the challenges currently being felt by many farmers in all sectors.
