The NWF Sila-Guard silage additive range contains quick acting bacteria and enzymes that convert valuable crop carbohydrates into energy for milk production.
Features
•Fermentation starter – Pediococcus pentosaceus. Optimum pH range 7 – 5 to dominate spoilage organisms
•Fermentation finisher – Lactobacillus Plantarum. Optimum pH range 5.5 – 4 to ensure a full fermentation and stable silage
•Aerobic Stability Enhancer – Lactobacillus brevis for controlled production of acetic acid for palatability with stability.

The Sila-Guard additive range is supplied in 150g pots, each treating 50 tonnes of silage. For high dry matter the concentration can be increased to suit requirements.
