A wide range of supplements are available which can be added to dairy cows diets to improve performance, boost fertility and reduce health problems. NWF have two products specifically designed to improve rumen function.

Yea-Sacc ^®
the world’s leading yeast culture which can help maintain a healthy rumen. High yielding cows require large amounts of starchy concentrates but these can result in a fall in rumen pH which leads to reduced rumen function, depressed feed intakes and lower production. By influencing the types of bacteria in the rumen Yea-Sacc ^®helps maintain a stable rumen pH leading to better digestion, higher feed intakes, better yields and better use of feed.For more information please click here

Mycosorb^®
mycotoxins are produced by moulds and fungi which can occur is stored feeds and on growing crops such as maize. Under stress conditions (heat, cold, moisture) the moulds produce mycotoxins which can significantly reduce performance including lower yields, reduced appetite, poor fertility, lameness and teat inflammation and abortions. Mycosorb^® is a yeast extract which binds to mycotoxins in the feed rendering them harmless to livestock. Where mycotoxins have been identified the average response to Mycosorb^® is over 1 litre per day increase in milk yield. For more information please click here
