January soybean futures closed 7 ½ cents higher at USD10.60 ½. December soymeal futures ended 30 cents higher at $USD26.80, with December soyoil futures at 40.19 cents, up 9 points.

EU wheat futures closed higher Monday with Paris January milling wheat futures up EUR0.25 at EUR131.50/tonne and London January feed wheat GBP0.75 higher at GBP108.00/tonne.

January soybean futures closed at USD10.53, down 1 ½ cents, December soymeal at USD326.50, up USD8.50 and December soy oil futures at 40.10 cents, down 0.47 points.

EU wheat futures closed narrowly mixed Friday with Paris January milling wheat futures up EUR0.25 at EUR131.25/tonne and London March feed wheat down GBP0.20 at GBP110.15/tonne.

With the current depressed price of barley, and lack of a decent premium for malting varieties, 1.56 MMT of grains have already been offered into intervention during the first fortnight of the program

CBOT Jan soybeans ended 12 cents higher at USD10.39, and March soybeans settled 11 1/2 cents higher at $10.44 3/4.

Paris January milling wheat futures closed down EUR0.75 at EUR133.50/tonne, and London May feed wheat ended down GBP1.00 at GBP112.00/tonne.

January soybeans closed are at USD10.27, down 2 ½ cents, December soymeal futures at USD310.50, up USD1.80, December soy oil futures at 39.75 down 6 points.

EU wheat futures closed with November London feed wheat up GBP0.50/tonne at GBP105.65/tonne and with Paris January milling wheat down EUR0.50/tonne at EUR134.25/tonne.

In the first week it was opened almost a million tonnes of wheat & barley was offered up for intervention in the EU, according to reports.

November soybean futures closed at 9.84, up 1 ¾ cents, and December soymeal futures at 301.10, up 10 cents. Export sales were very strong at 1,272,518 MT, well above trade estimates.

December corn futures closed at USD4.09, up 8 ¾ cents. Corn buyers came in about 11:30 to move the market to higher ground into the close.
