Corn futures finished the day on a higher note, helped by the friendly stocks report of 1.674 billion bushels for 2008/2009 and the much lower US Dollar Index.

EU wheat futures continued to edge lower Wednesday with November Paris milling wheat futures trading flat at EUR122.50/tonne, and London November feed wheat trading down GBP0.50 at GBP97.50/tonne.

November beans closed at 9.17, down 2 ½ cents. Beans are in no man's land at the moment, tight cash supplies and strong demand are balanced by an impending record crop.

EU wheat futures stumbled lower Tuesday with Paris November milling wheat ending down EUR0.25 at EUR122.50/tonne, and London November feed wheat down GBP0.65 at GBP98.00/tonne.

December corn futures settled higher.

EU wheat futures closed marginally lower Monday with Paris November milling wheat down EUR0.25 at EUR122.75/tonne, and London November May feed wheat down GBP0.35 at GBP98.65/tonne.

Having released figures for England only last week, the NFU today released it's first estimates of UK grain and oilseed production for 2009.

November beans closed the day at 9.26, up 6 ½ cents. Continued Delta rains are deterring early harvesting and keeping nearby cash beans tight.

EU wheat futures finished with little change on Friday with November Paris milling wheat futures down EUR0.75 at EUR123.00/tonne, and London November feed wheat closing unchanged at GBP99.00/tonne.

December soybeans closed at $9.19 ½, down 1 cent.

EU wheat futures closed higher Thursday with November Paris milling wheat ending up EUR1.75 at EUR123.75/tonne and London November feed wheat closing up GBP2.00 at GBP99.00/tonne.

November soybeans closed at $9.20 ½, down 1 ½ cents. Some weather forecasts for next week are showing a risk of frost Tuesday morning.

EU wheat futures closed mixed Wednesday with Paris November milling wheat up EUR1.00 at EUR122.00/tonne, and London November feed wheat closing down GBP0.25 at GBP97.00/tonne.

In the US winter wheat accounts for around 70% of the entire nation's wheat crop.

November soybeans closed at $9.22, up 8 ½ cents. The market is entirely at the vagaries of the local weather forecasts at the moment.

EU wheat closed slightly firmer in a low volume session Tuesday.

November beans closed at $9.13 ½, down 27 ½ cents. Frost talk is disappearing, dragging soybeans sharply lower. A firm US dollar and significantly lower crude oil also weighed on beans today.

EU wheat started the week modestly lower with Paris November milling wheat closing down EUR0.75 at EUR120.50/tonne, and London November feed wheat ending down GBP0.75, at GBP96.75/tonne.

November beans closed at $9.41, down 12 cents, still beans closed 38 cents higher on the week .

EU wheat futures closed higher Friday, with London leading the way boosted by a weak sterling and lower than anticipated production and acreage estimates from the NFU and Defra.

November beans finished a volatile session at $9.53, up 2 ½ cents. Lower prices earlier today were attributed to a change in the weather forecast that shows the front coming through next Wednesday.

EU wheat futures closed firmer Thursday, although the euro hitting an eight month high against the US dollar capped gains in Parisian futures.

November soybeans closed at $9.60, up 51 cents. Soybeans are two to three weeks behind normal in some states leaving the late developing crop vulnerable to an early frost.

EU wheat closed a rare high volume day firmer Tuesday with November Paris milling wheat ending up EUR2.00%, at EUR121.25/tonne, and London November feed wheat closing up GBP1.25 at GBP93.00/tonne.

September beans closed at $9.25 down 59 ½ cents, November closed at $9.09, up 6 cents. The spread between old and new crop narrowed to 16 cents on the close.

EU wheat futures continued to slip lower Monday, further extending recent losses on increasing crop production worldwide and slack demand.

Sept soybeans finished at $9.84 ½, up 11 cents, whilst Nov finished at $9.03, down 23 ½ cents.

EU wheat closed unchanged to slightly lower Friday, with little in the way of end-user buying in evidence to support the market.
