NWF Stable Rumen Pak

 

A unique formulation from NWF designed to optimise rumen pH. It Includes Yea-Sacc1026, the leading live yeast, and a special blend of buffering agents. Yea-Sacc1026 stimulates rumen bacteria to remove excess acid produced in the rumen and helps increase rumen pH to promote better fibre digestion. Similar to saliva, it contains a mixture of salts which ensure exceptional buffering capacity in the rumen.

 

The Issue - Sub-Acute Rumen Acidosis (SARA)

 

SARA is caused by excess acid production in the rumen, leading to rumen pH falling. The longer and more severe the period of low pH, the greater the problem. Put simply, SARA is an upset stomach and you know how bad that can make you feel!

 

SARA can cause:

 

• Poor fibre digestion
• Reduced rumen efficiency
• Depressed milk production
• Lower butterfat
• Increased lameness.
